Absolutely Insane Idea for CGCF

After I wrote the post about having a limited number of high producers in each habitat in order to limit production and enable picking up coins before the limit is reached, I mentioned that each Earth habitat should be limited to only two Panlongs because with three you can reach the $75K limit in just over an hour. Which gave me an idea (that's when I can be very dangerous).

Why not have an A team and a B team? The HC facilitates moving dragons around easily. So, when you're online and checking your park regularly (a lot of the time for me right now) why not move in your Earth A team of three Panlongs. Then, when you are going to check less frequently, pull one Panlong from each habitat, put it in the HC and bring in the lesser producing dragons off the bench?

I have eight earth habitats right now and 18 Panlongs, so with 6 more Panlongs I can do this insane scheme. And if I take them to level 15 it greatly helps my gold shrine efforts. Then once I have the gold shrines I can sell excess Panlongs for $1M each. I'm gonna do it. Makes the game that much more fun - I'm a dragon coach! Worth the bit of money.

Finished my rough draft of what the comet dragon will look like. I will post when I get the colors figured out. I even had the juvenile have an adult sized head! :D send messages with more suggestions for dragons. Please include types or elements or whatever they called.

Frankly, this game is loosing more and more of its charm. It was about breeding and growing dragons, in a nice environment and gamers did superb islands. Everybody was just anxious to get all dragons and each new one is a thrill. However, - and in my humble opinion - the makers pushed it in a way which results destroying that spirit. To achieve the goal you have no alternative but "make money" and sacrifize the whole charm of the original idea. This becomes too much like the worst examples in RL, for example destroying forests to grow money bringing harvest.
Personnaly i think a game should be something to escape reality, we have enough of it in our day to day life, and, just as it was in the first weeks/monthes, a trip in an enchanted world.
Just my two pence on the subject.

We are all behind you GT and forgive me if I am wrong but repayment is not necessary for us. It's more important to us that you get the sneaky little bugger! xxx

I agree with that completely

This is a great point, but I don't think the two scenarios are mutually exclusive. I love the aesthetic side (that's why I have a Nursery Island - which can be restored, unlike forests). But I also love the challenging side, represented by the gold shrines. If it weren't for that I wouldn't have anything to do, as at one time my islands were designed to my taste, I had two of every dragon, and I was at level 30.

The gold shrines are a dumb goal, but I'm glad to have something to strive for. The developers don't force us to make a choice - we can opt for the aesthetic or opt for the striving or, the best of all worlds to me, both. As I tell my grand kids, try to avoid dichotomous thinking as it can really put limits on you. It's OK to like vanilla and chocolate. :)

I was finally able to trick the game into giving me a 48 hour breed by pretending I was trying for Panlong #9 from mud 4 x blazing 12

Cautiously optimistic that it will be my second rainbow, though a second sun would be great too. If it turns out to be a moon I'll scream.

Poppy you are absolutely right and in your particular position it is a great way of being busy to "built" something and whilst doing this times passes and your healing is making progress.
For others, like me, and although i have the time, it is not because there is a mountain in front of me that i consider it necessary to climb on it LOL. (and believe me, there are plenty of mountains around including the highest one of europe accross the lake). So i take it easy and here and there comes a new level 15 but i do not put any stress on it.

And I love your point of view. I'm an entrepreneur and carry all the baggage that goes with it, including loving to strive.

Am off to bed, have a good time everybody. And when it is time to sleep for you too, dream of dragon land and all the breedings you will achieve soon.
