I am pleased to announce after waiting 48 hrs. Iit's a SUN egg! Thank you for sharing your successes!! Level 10 for bth dragon scorch/snow. Is it true to do the same combo at night to get a moon? I am so excited!!!! Not to make myself feel bad, I would look at my sun and moon habitats as beautiful decorations as they sat empty for weeks.

Oh dear, so sorry and I feel your pain. I usually wait for the last 4 or so hours specifically for that reason and because I'm afraid to jinx it! Don't worry , it will come soon .

Thanks I'm going to have more willpower next time lol could kick myself for that one I'm gonna keep trying and at least some of the trash ones go towards my shrines

Ooo yay! Me too! I put fire+ storm in the ebc and got 12, and then cold+blazing in the regular cave for another 12. Hopefully one of them yield the frost fire, or even my second bluefire. I'll cry if we both end up with another cold!

I finally got my first 48 hour egg and it's also a sun!! Once it's hatched am looking forward to seeing it in place. It was snow and storm. Now to try for one of the others. ;-)

Can you remind me if you've bred a moon from this? I tried it for a while and got a rainbow. Still so desperate for my second moon. It's been ages and all I keep getting from any of the moon combos is suns

Boysnberry, flower and storm gave me all the rares, including 3 moons . Best of luck with your second moon

Can you not give someone a gem two days in a row? Got some gems and wanted to give back but couldn't for some reason. They were blocked out but everyone else was able to recieve. Anyway promise to give them tomorrow!

Well after trying for frostfire for a while now i finally have a 12 hour incubation time by mixing scorch(that i finally got the other day!!) lvl 9 on right and cold lvl 9 on left... I sure hope it isnt a bluefire I already got one if those little buggers ^_^ good luck to everyone

You have to start over breeding the 50 level 10 dragons needed to qualify for silver shrines. The same thing happened with the upgrade that offered gold shrines for 50 level 15 dragons. The level 15 dragons you already had didn't count and you had to start over.

I think it's a serious case of greed on the part of Backflip Studios, the developer of the game. They're obviously trying to get players to spend money to accelerate the process. According to my calculations, it would take five years to get to gold shrines and level 20 dragons if you didn't spend any cash. Too bad - its a great game.

I'm afraid that they are going to lose a lot of players, mostly their avid base. My grandson (who introduced me to the game - I'm Poppy) and my son, both level 25's, have lost interest. I'm still playing, but it does seem futile to work on Gold shrines. Probably going to try for level 30 and call it good and wait for new dragons.

What a good combo for a sandstorm? I am breeding air and the grey hammer looking dragon (lightening/earth) and the incubation is 6hrs. I am assuming it's another hammer. Lol

Any suggestions?

Try a higher level air and a lower level mud. I used air(13) and mud (4). Got both my sandstorms
