I talked to backflip and they told me to tell everyone to please email them at: Support@BackflipStudios.com so that then can fix the glitches you all have been experiencing.

As of now though everyone stopping it from running in the background seems to be working. I have tested it 3 times and all is well, it's only loading the one time and I did get gem notification which did not disappear on me. :thumbs:

Note that the dragonvale app is still running in the background after you move on to other apps.
You can avoid this problem if you turn off the dragonvale app on your device after you use it each time.

Do you know if we were supposed to have received credit for the LVL 15 dragons we had before the update or if that is considered a glitch?

I believe we are supposed to get credit but it could ba a glitch. I know that I did get credit for some lvl15 dragons and the experience points as well.

Oh, it's good that you got credit for at least some, I hope most of them. Strange though that it's not an all or nothing situation.

I only had one lvl 15 dragon and didn't get the credit. It's not a huge deal, but maybe worth mentioning anyway? I'll have to make a list

If it is a glitch, what are we to do, wait for the next update? And Brooklyn, I looked at your islands half and hour ago, and one of your sandstormdragon had a crown instead of that (is it orb, the cirkel above the dragons), is it because you are extra super in this game or?

Now I'm hunting for the sandstorm, no luck.. I also do need the gem-tree, but I'm too cheap to buy some gems, but soon I guess I have too..

I am so furious again...I really can't even think straight! (no it's not the nicotine withdrawl, I think I'm over that now haha)

Once again I open DV this morning and this time I really have no idea if I had the "and others gave you gems" because I was writing them down as quick as possible. It started out when I opened it the game seemed open all ready (this happens everytime I open DV since the update) then it started reloading and connecting to game center...finally it says welcome back GT500Girl or whatever it says...ok so it's all blurry amd then it becomes clear. Ah ha! I received gems...I start writing as fast as possible because almost everytime it screws me! Dazz34, jbobcat and then WTF!!! The game reloads again!!! Now I have steam coming out of my ears, eyes...I have had it! My first thought is maybe I won't open the game until they get this problem fixed! I do NOT want to be the person that is not returning gems. I would NEVER do that to anyone. Then I realize if I don't open it then everyone that sends me gems will probably not receive one back. I really don't know what to do, don't have a clue if it is a GC issue or DV issue but the one thing I do know is I can't take this anymore.

How many of you are having this same problem? Should we do as phibes suggested? I think it's a good idea. Something needs to be done for sure.

I lost mine this morning also, also due to the reconnecting of the game. S if you sent me gems please let me know. Thanks

Maybe we could start a new thread just for gem and leave a post saying just " hi sent gems today to the 3 or 6 names" you have sent to and if we have any names missing we can just check there and get the missing names x can't wait to see your island and brooklyns just waiting for you both to show up in my friends on DV x

The crown on my sandstorm is because I've raised him to level 20 an I also have a flower dragon at level 20 I've only done 2 because it cost so much to lvl a dragon to 20 and I got my tree like my epic breeding island all of you have sent me gems and I save them. Thanks again everyone.
