Hi...I am new, but wanted to add my experiences with the group. My first Sandstorm was similarly with a Quake/Air matchup. I have been trying to create another for my Goals (Level 19). I have tried Sonic/Mountain, but got a Quake (again.) Right now, I am trying again with a Quake Dragon and my first Sandstorm Dragon. It's worth a shot. Thanks for letting me put my two cents in.

Thanks Jack! That sandstorm is awful! I'm at level 25 and have yet to get my 2nd. I haven't tried real hard yet but was using sandstorm/air while working on my earth shrine and didn't end up with another....

Hi. I have a Moon Dragon, but I was only beginning with DragonVale at the time, and honestly wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. I was supposed to be "babysitting" my 13 year olds game, and foolishly started to experiment. Now I am hooked!
It was simply a case of beginners luck, or else I'd be happy to share how it happened. I have been paying close attention now, and logging all my results. Still no Sun or Rainbow Dragon yet!

My Earth Shrine is under construction as we speak (text.) I have been trying to meet my Plant Shrine quota (20 out of 50 now), so I have been alternating my two "love nests" with approprate matches that may provide me with either a Sandstorm or some valuable $1,000,000 Plant Hybrid.

That is EXACTLY how I got hooked lol I was collecting money for my ten year old and thought hmm this game has got so much more potential and I kinda took over and now we argue on a regular basis over who's game it is but I guess he wins hands down seeing as it's his iPad lol but I made it a better game lol x
