The first time I got the supposed Jade combo was on Dragonvale facebook fanpage. Now the breeding sandbox is saying plasma and salamander. I don't know though! Just passing what I read.

Breeding sandbox have listed plasma and salamander - finally - awesome. Happy breeding everyone and may the wizard be with you, with magic wand in hand. O, and congrats on being the first one on the forum to breed one - a jade dragon it is.

Good! Tried both on the island and in ordinary cave. 6 fails in a row - and Sandbox combo is not right.



Looks like I got a Crystal as well. Will check that.

Yeah, that's sad, but you know that backflip are working on enlarging the gem island or providing something extra that will allow us to house the extra gemstone dragons, so it's all good.

I've decided not to speed up any of my breeds as I'm guessing the next update for housing gemstone dragons will require gems, so I need to save mine. Also, 3 months to breed means the pressure is not on....but it's always exciting when you get to breed them quickly. Don't you just love this game. Thanks to our wonderful friends at Backflip Studios. They always deliver at just the right time.

My first two tries for Jade = 2 Coral fails. But there's plenty of time so I'm not worried. Good luck everyone

Yeah, that's sad, but you know that backflip are working on enlarging the gem island or providing something extra that will allow us to house the extra gemstone dragons, so it's all good.

I've decided not to speed up any of my breeds as I'm guessing the next update for housing gemstone dragons will require gems, so I need to save mine. Also, 3 months to breed means the pressure is not on....but it's always exciting when you get to breed them quickly. Don't you just love this game. You are way too kind, thank you. All the more reason to be positive. I just feed my salamander dragon to level 17. Just put her in with my level 20 plasma, and I have my first jade breeding on epic. Attempt #6 and no gems used for speed breeding. How exciting, and on the first day of the known combo. Happy breeding family.

Congratulations, I'm really happy for you, and on the second try, that's awesome. Here's hoping that more and more report their successful breeding outcomes soon. I bred one on my fourth try with Salamander and Plasma, both level 15. It's in my hatchery now, and I'm trying for a second for the egg. I have not seen where the Gemstone Island will allow more than three dragons tho, so I don't know where I'm going to put her when she hatches!

If you have a hibernation cave that's the best place for now. Backflip are onto it and will provide the space to house the extra gem dragons - we just need to be a little patient! As they say: 'you never know what the wizards will come up with next'
