Was there an actual "button" to upgrade? I'm only asking because I sold all my moon/sun habitats then I bought the new large ones with DC.

Yeah, there is an upgrade option x3 it cost 5m to upgrade moon/sun habitat

Yes there was. Unfortunately now you are gonna pose some dc. I had to sell off a bunch of my habitats to be able to fit the large sun and moon. It takes 12 hours to build and takes up the same space as a treasure habitat!

For those who missed the Solstice Dragon last June, now is your chance to bred it!

You can bred it with Blazing + Earth or any Earth Hybrid dragon
Note: Blazing is required

Suggested Combo:
Blazing + Bone
Blazing + Dodo
Blazing + Lava
Blazing + Obsidian
Blazing + Sandstorm

If you want Panlong as fail:
Blazing+Mud

If you have one, you can also breed it with dragons that have Sun element. E.g. Solar, Lunar, Equinox or Sun. The result will be either of the pair.

Oh well, I got all worked up about having all the new stuff, I didn't even realize I could have skipped the time and just upgraded using the button. I placed all my moon/sun dragons into the hibernation cave and started from scratch building the larger habitats.

Now I learned not to get over excited and miss things. Thanks BFS for making it soo exciting for me, lol.

I really like the upgraded versions of the moon and sun habitats I think they're awesome. And for those who never got solstice dragon good luck and Breed on!!!!

Hey guys! Just found this forum and started playing Dragonvale about 1 1/2 ago, maybe 2. Coming to look for advice now. I have my general habitats, plant, two earths(1 upgraded), ice, lightning, and two fires. Few large treat farms, colosseum, upgraded Nursery(once), and two other islands(the second island and gem stone).

I know this post is already longer than most, but I just am wondering what to do now. I have a decent amount of dragons, almost level 15, and got lucky with my first lightning/cold dragon hatch, and a nice sun egg is sitting in my nursury with a day and 1/2 left. What is a good direction to move in dragon wise, like buying and/or hatching?

Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

I always go 1st for habitat that holds large amount of DC, like Earth and Cold habitat, then breed limited and epic dragons, you'll get many fail dragons there which you still don't have. Also use the boost wisely, separate the habitat in different island the are opposite elements.

I'm not good in strategy, i'm sure others can give you a better answer.

And btw, congrats on your Sun. You're very lucky to got it fast in early stage.

I am now rethinking my strategy. With the sun, moon and treasure habitats now worth more $'s holding 3 dragons each, I will most likely wipe out some earth habitats with my panlong army and create a sun and moon island. I love, love, love the new sun habitat.

Also don't forget that the Seasonal Habitat now can hold 2 dragons and they gave us additional extra habitat.

Do you think this was the surprise holiday gift BFS gave us? Coz i was really surprise with all this Big updates that we don't expect will happen all at once, like the Large Sun and Moon Habitat.

Me too I just started breeding to get the solstice, (I missed that one on June) and got two smoke on the way.. No matter! It is all part of the fun
