I just got my second eclipse today (on second try) using the blazing-lava combo again.. Seems to work for me! Sending you guys some of my luck don't forget to catch it!!

No luck for me - blazing, lava and obsidian over and over and over again - blah! Just tried again, and another 2 fails - blah again!

I have tre dragons on my gemstone island and my last Topaz is soon ready.
How can I handle the situation? I understand I can put it on a piedestal - but I am not sure I like that ...
Such a nice and rare dragon should fly ;o)

Well, apparently you can have up to 12 gemstone dragons on gemstone island, so I don't know what the problem is. However, if it is not like that, try selling a gem dragon you have more than one of (if you are willing to!) to make space.

Well, apparently you can have up to 12 gemstone dragons on gemstone island, so I don't know what the problem is. However, if it is not like that, try selling a gem dragon you have more than one of (if you are willing to!) to make space.

I just went back to my post long time ago:

Here is something to consider:
Getting a gemstone egg pedestal is as rare and as exciting as hatching a gemstone dragon because you can never breed 2 gemstone dragon together unlike any dragon, so once you miss the egg, you'll never get it until next year. Yes you'll miss some gem, but that is only 1 gem per week/4 gem per month, that is just too little, that is not something to worry about. And there will come to the point when you'll get more than one gemstone dragon per month, your gemstone island will be full even before all the gemstone dragon be introduced, you have no choice but to sell it, then there will come to point that you'll regret not having an gemstone egg collection.

Here's my simple rules: 1st goes to the island, 2nd for display, 3rd or more goes to the island. You already have one Topaz in the island, why need two, you still don't have Topaz's egg pedestal, then display it. but it's your choice, some like collecting stamps, some think it's just a piece of paper, same thing on collecting eggs, some are just not fond of collecting eggs.

I used around 200 gems power breeding the first Eclipse, and then for the hell of trying for Dodo I got a second. That's how everything works. When you really want it bad, you'll never get it. Forget about it an don't think about it just try for something else in the list of possibilities an you are sure to get that which you want for real.

An interesting psychology, but when all you need is the Eclipse and the Topaz, I have nothing to try for that can "accidentally" get me the news I want. But thanks for the idea.

Breeding rule for Solar Eclipse has change, Blazing is not required, you only need Air, Fire and Earth element in the combo, so many possible combination.

The new suggested combo is:
Air + Bone
Air + Lava
Air + Obsidian

Other combo:
Blazing + Bone
Blazing + Dodo
Blazing + Lava
Blazing + Obsidian
Blazing + Sandstorm
Bone + Dodo
Bone + Firework
Bone + Sandstorm
Dodo + Fire
Dodo + Firework
Dodo + Lava
Dodo + Obsidian
Fire + Sandstorm
Firework + Lava
Firework + Obsidian
Firework + Sandstorm
Lava + Sandstorm
Obsidian + Sandstorm

So my poor Firework Dragon got kicked into the Hibernation cave so a 2nd Blazing could come and play...
Interesting that they changed it, don't remember this happening before. Maybe they've decided to give us more chance with such a short breeding window.
