Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

I got one last night after I updated and then got it on my first try. Then nothing for about 20 tries.

I just tried again and got one on my first try. The race was Blast Furnace and I used Brass. I got all perfect's with two Greats. My spin was normal for me.....nothing crazy and not slow.
The one thing I did notice is that the 6 one on the wheel is the one you get. I tried ten times and every time it landed on the sixth spot no matter how hard or soft I spun. I spun it really soft once and it stopped on a piece for about a second and then it jumped to the next one.
My conclusion is that Marc is correct and it is either once a day you can win a piece or X number of hours in between.

It has been confirmed via other forums that there is a 6-hour window in between winning pieces on the racetrack. Someone developed a trick: when you win a piece, plant a crop that takes six hours. Then try for another piece. And there is a chance you can win a piece you already have. If this happens, you get a bonus spin. This does not count towards the 6-hour wait time. Good luck everyone!

I always use Epic Dragons in any race and always got 1st place.

Yes it's always the 6th item (counter-clockwise) of the wheel is your prize no matter how you spin it. But don't feel cheated, it's just that you actually won the prize the moment you press the start button, it's still random.

Thanks for the tip, now we'll just wait for 6hrs everytime we got one. 3-4x a day then we can summon Kairos in a week or less. :)

So the max level now is 40 and you'll only get one additional habitat when you reach 40.

I would have been nice to see the max levels increase to at least 50. I'm ok with the single extra habitat. Moving up in levels makes it more enjoyable for me, even if the rewards take a while to get to, at least I'm progressing in a game I'm addicted to. But an extra 5 levels is better than none, thank you BFS. :)

When you say, Epic, do you mean level 10? I always wondered if there was any reason to stop at any other levels? It seems that it doesn't effect breeding, so I've always leveled them up to 10 right away. And of course to 15 if that's what I'm working on.

I just got my second piece on my second try. It was the cherry road race (I believe) and I used Sakura. It was the sixth item on the wheel.

I've got two pieces so far. Got the first last night and the second this morning. Will try and see if I can get a third later on tonight.

Epic refers to the rare dragons, like sun, moon, panlong, or even the Olympus dragons.

Only one piece here too...

Tried to race a few times and was then told the track was closed for cleaning!! So is there a limit to how many tries we get?

Also, interesting that some people say they've been moved up the levels, yet myself and others who I know have been on L35 for months are still on 35...

The only movement I've had today was when I won 33,000,000 XP in one of the kairos races!
