Mine took 10 2 12 try's straight then BAMB!

I think dragon vale hates me :.( I tried for the paper and equinox and I didn't get them :.(

Don't feel bad. I hit the first friend in my list, the screen came up and then it crashed. But the update said it was for ios4. My iPad is on ios5 and the iPhones just upgraded to ios6. So I'm not totally sure what it fixed.

Didn't fix mine too, using ios5.1.1. Well maybe maybe they are still working for ios5 and ios6 fix. I think to fix to crash, they should put an option to turn off the friends profile pic, that is causing the problem.

Welcome, You have to invite them via your game center with their user name?

Just got an opal (which is also my first gem dragon and my birthstone). Yeah. Used mud+lava and it took me at least 30-40 tries. Got it in my upgraded cave. My visitors were over 200 at the time. Not sure if that helps anybody but I wanted to pass it on and hope this gives a little encouragement to those still trying.
