I'm trying for the elusive gold Olympus. Right now I have two crystal dragons breeding. I tried breeding gold and silver Olympus dragons, and even though I knew the odds were about 5% last month my 5 breeding attempts ended up all being silver Olympus. I even bred a bronze from air and quake last month. So, air and quake it is, and back on the hunt. I will get it....one day. I'll be very happy as it is the only rare egg I need for my display.

Happy breeding family. I see a lot of opal dragons already as I swing by for the $ party hats. Nice work.

I think it's 1% chance getting Gold Olympus with Gold Olympus+Silver Olympus, the tester from sandbox has tested it and got 1/100, but got it on the 70th try, that's why that combo is not even appearing in Sandbox Combo Finder, they wont suggest using that combo. so i would suggest just keep trying with the common combo, it is more likely you'll it sooner than using G O+S O.

Some suggestions:

Crystal + Sandstorm
Lightning + Sandstorm
Quake + Sandstorm
Quake + Sonic
Sandstorm + Sonic

Or if you want less average fail time (min=30mins/max=48hrs) use:

Butterfly + Clover
Butterfly + Moss
Butterfly + Sakura
Butterfly + Tree
Dodo + Love
Love + Sandstorm
Sakura + Sonic

I got mine with Sonic+Quake and Sonic+Sandstorm

Yeah, they are great. It's a given that we will have 12 all up, we just need to wait 6 months before we have them all. I'm in, and happy to wait. I made the mistake of hatching 2 emeralds as I wanted them for the gems. As a result, I didn't get the third for a display so I for one am hoping they continue to loop the dragons next year as the months roll on.

Me too for those who started later on the cycle and didn't get the first ones release etc.. I'd also like to see something new too like Zodiac dragons or something

I also still need the gold Olympus and beings that its the rarest of the 3 I'm not particularly holding breath for it LOL

That sometimes happened to me, i think that happens when you didn't send gems for almost 48hrs. The first 6 is for the last 6 you sent, and another 6 because the timer restart again.

Mine did that today too. I sent gems this morning and a couple hours later, I could send 6 more.

Im new to this game so i thought id say hi. I already love it. My roomie is hooked too. She hogs my iphone. Lol

Yeah, it's the only combo. I have found (although not statistically proven) that if I don't speed up with gems I get the gemstone dragon much quicker! Just a thought. Not sure if anyone else has found that, but for me, it works.

Yep, speeding up breeding times with gems doesn't do a thing! Such a shame isn't it
