It wasn't. Just got my first one today after spending a humongous amount of gems trying to get it.

You don't have to wait next year for Solstice, the description says it will come twice each year, Summer and Winter. So just wait for December.

Welcome to the forum!

Any dragon with 4 different elements combine may produce a Rainbow, you can try:

Firefly + Seaweed
Firefly + Swamp
Scorch + Seaweed
Scorch + Swamp

Those have less time if you fail

I just got one from mountain poison while trying for the limited paper dragon.

Today I celebrate one year of playing DragonVale! Strange, one year ago I downloaded this game, just because I wanted something to play after a foot surgery, didn't expect anything... And wow, what a fun addicted game it is! And it's developing all the time, so it's hard to get bored! Love it!!!

Anyone think there will be an update soon with more islands and habitats?

I just recently got the Silver with cold n mine combo. I've been trying several times a day since it came out also. It was a huge surprise when I finally got him. I've bred him with gold twice to try to get a second but keep getting gold.

Lol what a bummer n so many tryin to get more gold n all u get is gold but u don't really want it bc u want silver lol

She will occasionally remind me that SHE was the one who found Dragonvale.
