Someone in another forum said the peridot is available at level 11 - that means metal is not involved, nor air. Someone else said they bought it and as they were feeding it, the level up graphic appeared to be like fire. So the guess is now lava and cactus.
I tried iron and cactus before I found this out and I have a crystal breeding.

Ok maybe crystal and cactus. The description says don't get confused with emerald. Emerald uses crystal. And maybe BFS wants to make it different this time, so it will be hard to guess. Just Maybe! i'm giving up now, i'll just wait for wiki to post the combo tomorrow. Goodnight everyone!

No you are correct. Kryp2n8 is just mistaken wiki is updated. It has been confirmed Cactus + Crystal = Peridot!

Dangit!! I was super close! Lol my first intuition when I first saw him was Crystal!! Then cactus for color cause I saw the yellow in his wings... Hmmm should have guessed it in the contest! Lol oh well!! Happy breeding!! My caves are clogged *sighs*
