I agree, I tried for weeks with no luck, and as soon as I tried this trick I got my ruby. Thanks for informing is about your discovery!

You should try sticking with the same combo for a little while instead of switching it up. Just gotta let the dragons build up the magic

I got mine with chrome/scorch on the second attempt after it came out even though i wasn't trying for the gold in that cave. I was trying in the EBI with brass/flower but got it in the NBC instead.

Oh no thank you but I was talkin about plasma lol ms sparkle named it after me n that's when I said I couldnt get it lol

I have my gold in the cave no room for habitat but am super close to level 23 n then I will get it

I have gotten so many suggestions but no result
n my goal list I have sandstorm the only goal left! For level 22 ! N can't get no u have any of these n if so what combo did u use

Oh. Uhhh, I think I got mine with magnetic/water but im not entirely sure. The opposite dragons can be near impossible. It took me about a
month before I got my dodo.

It's official that FOR ME with brand new chrome n scorch leveling them up to 10 at the same time then I buy some things move some stuff around n after a 1 fireworks n 1firefly I got my 3rd RUBY

Honestly I need help with this one I have tired so many combos all suggested n nothing lol I guess I haven't tired PATIENCE!!!

Opposite dragons have a significantly lower percent chance of breeding than the ordinary hybrids, so don't get discouraged if you don't get it in your 10th or even 50th try. just DON'T GIVE UP! Keep trying until you get them!

The best combo for less fail time is Lightning + Seaweed or Lightning + Swamp. The possible results are Cactus (30 mins), Seaweed (5 hours), Swamp (9 hours), and Plasma (16 hours).

However, if you are also trying to get Sun or Moon, you can do Lightning + Ice, the possible results for this are Storm (5 hours), Ice (8 hours), Iceberg (8 hours), Plasma (16 hours), Sun and Moon (depends on time) (48 hours)

Okay, when you get your dragons past level 10 you will see they all form a little ball over their heads, so when you reach level 11, you will see this as way of acknowledging all your hard work thus far. Those balls will remain there until your dragons reach level 20. At that stage, your dragons will wear little spinning gold crowns over their heads. If you swing by Marc's place, you will see a few. Those crowns represent the highest achievement of all - level 20 dragons.

The shrines turn from bronze to silver when you reach level 10. That is quite an achievement as you will have leveled up 50 dragons that contains those elements...that's why hybrids are the best, because they level up multiple shrines depending on the elements contained in the dragon. Before metal came into play, a panlong dragon and a bloom dragon covered all 7 elements. As people began to get strategic and worked on these two dragons, bloom disappeared from the market.

Once you get 50 dragons to level 15, (of the same element) all those beautiful shrines that adorn your islands will turn gold. That's when the shrine grind really begins...so, happy breeding family, because the bigger they get, the more hungry they become.
