You too.. And thanks on the tip to wipe out a Metal habitat.. I was wondering which one to wipe to replace it with a Treasure to place my first Gold and it will now be a Metal..

Finally after breeding chrome and scorch for 20 days I just got my gold. I had to use gems to speed it up just to be sure. WooHoo

I put earth and metal together today and I got my slang on the way! I am happy about that. I still cannot get my gold, got a forge (tried the brass flower combo again, shouldn't have done that..)

Awesome work Di. I love the Gold too but not havin any luck so just practicing on the virtue of patience. Jaxan got his Ruby today n his mum got 2 Gold.

O wow. Tell them I'm excited for them both. Totally awesome, I bet Jaxan is really excited. I will swing on by over the week end and take a look, and do a little dragonvale happy dance for them both. O, and by the way, I will be back in beautiful Perth in a little over two weeks time. One weeks holiday, 2 weeks work.

O, and I have it on good authority that grandmothers/Nana's are the queens of patience.

Luck must be on my side this morning, I woke up an my copper dragon was ready to incubate, and I saw the new dragon so I tossed a Metal an Earth in an first attempt got the 22hr timer. Shame the nice dragons take so long to breed/incubate.

Not sure that I've welcomed you - so welcome. Great effort first try. Congratulations. Seems like the dragons are taking longer to breed - all part of backflips strategy while you are trying to chase gold and ruby for long breeds, along comes another new dragon with a long breed.

Indeed for a newer player like myself (lvl21) the long breeds make it tough to get that which has caught your eye in a short period. I would love if they had the option in game to cancel a breeding, or when breeding is done I display the egg rather then wait for a full incubation time.

BFS already gave us an option to cancel breeding and incubation with the use of gems. If you'll just cancel it without any consequence i think it will take part of fun out.

BFS wants to make each dragon have their counterpart, where breeding two basic elements could result in a long or short breeding time. The only left now for metal hybrid is chrome and malachite counterpart to complete the metals set. And eleven dragons left to have all the dragons have their counterpart dragon.

We now have total of 69 kinds of dragons including all the limited, rare, gemstones dragons.

This morning I went with brass and flower on epic. Not sure what it will produce, but I do know it's either a rainbow or gold. I'm believing for my second gold. Once I get her and I can breed, I've decided to wipe out two of my low earning metal habitats, and replace them with treasure habitats. I just love the gold dragons. Mine is called WOCKY - that's how she made her entrance into my dragonvale world, so I'm leaving her with her birth name. All I need now is for backflip to increase the hibernation cave from 100 to 125

It can't be rainbow so congrats on your 2nd Gold and many more golds to come. i also don't change the names of my dragons, the only dragon i change name is the malachite dragon, i name him HULK. coz obviously his description is referring to Hulk.
