Are u sure that Mud/Butterfly works for Panlong? I was unaware of this combo and Im gonna try it if you are sure...

This question goes for anybody on this forum who has actually counted their attempts (or can give an accurate estimate) to get a particular rare or limited dragon... What is the most attempts it has taken you to get a Emerald, Pearl, Rainbow, Sun, Moon or any other limited dragon that has taken you 25 + attempts to get??

I played from the beginning to jan then stop. I hadnt even gotten the rares ( sun, moon, rainbow and sandstorm). Ive been playing again since may 31 st., with 2 to 6 pearl combos a day ... No pearl yet. Thus some have all the luck. (

Way too many, lost count. Got my pearl on my second shot, took 13 after that. Switched from epic to normal and boom, there she was. I decided to put my second one on display yesterday, so I will be trying for my third soon. Panlong and sandstorm took the longest for me. As for emerald I occupied epic the entire time, and got 2. Sometimes I think it is good to switch between caves and shake things up a little!

I think ill try butterfly or forge combos next. Might get lucky then back to pearl. Might bring some luck back

Yeah - I was just curious to hear people's thoughts because I have only been playing Dragonvale for a little less than a month, so just trying to get a feel for how much longer I may be waiting for the elusive Pearl... I actually have 2 snow and 2 seaweed dragons, have both caves upgraded, and have been trying all different combos (including giving both caves breaks from going for the Pearl once or twice), and still no luck. I'm trying not to get too impatient, and it is frustrating, but I'm trying to stay positive as from reading alot of veterans posts on here that the dragon you want will always come with time.

Congrats to all that have gotten Pearl, Rainbow, Moon, Panlong, Dodo, Current, Plasma, Bluefire, Frostfire, Sandstorm, Magnetic, and Quicksilver. Those are the only ones I have left to get, and to be honest I have really only given much effort to the Pearl and to an extent Rainbow, Moon, and Panlong. The others I haven't really tried for cause I have been too busy trying to get Emerald, Pearl, and also advancing levels - lol It is a very fun AND addictive game overall as I consider it almost a collection of sorts (like somebody that would collect coins or figurines etc.).

Getting the Pearl on the second try must be sweet - although I guess it only took me 6 tries to get the Emerald and I know some never even got the Emerald. I now feel the pain of those that tried to get Emerald but came up short. Well enough rambling on about this - sorry, I must be overtired Good luck to you dizzy and everyone else who is hunting for more rare and limited dragons!

First time got the moon with cold and lightning L7 was trying for a storm and reversed it. Still trying for pearl and others this is very addicting I don't even want to write my report for school

I guess everyone have their tough moments in getting their rares. My initial difficult moment was getting a rainbow, blue fire and moon. Then all my rainbows start to come in. Then my blue fire and frost fire also came in. Eventually I yearn for a moon.. And it came. After that, most of my breeding have been rather smooth.

Now, I am challenged again to yearn for a Pearl. I carry a different mindset. Though I really can bang my head sometimes about the 5,6,8 hr timer.. But I told myself that it's ok. I will try again.

I have a limited time, so I'm prob even more anxious as I'm going on holiday and by the time I'm back, Pearl might be gone or I might only have a few days to try again.
Oh well, what will be will be ya?
I will try my forge and quicksilver when I'm back from my trip.

I mistakenly got the moons rainbow (1st) while trying for the emerald. I now have 2 pearls 1 rainbow/sun (unsure) and I just got a 36 hour egg from blazing and mud, excited to have gotten the panlong so easily.

Ugh! Jealous of your Panlong! I've been trying far too long.. Lol
