A Word of Advice:
if you already have multiple emerald dragon, putting them together in one habitat will shorten its gem counter. i just have to wait 15hrs now to collect my 1st 3gem from the emerald dragon.

Just collected my 1st gem from emerald dragon, it look like this....





I thought i will receive 3gems, but turns out only 1gem. So the conclusion is it will shortened the time but the outcome is still the same
1 level10 in 1habitat= 1gem per week
2 level10 in 1habitat= 1gem every 3.5days
3 level10 in 1habitat= 1gem every 2.33days

After days and days I have emerald in the making. I just leveled up to 21 but don't know which habitat to get. I have the usual and one moon. Should I get a rainbow or sun habitat? Thanks in advance.

You should get gemstone island, it's available in the market/island

Got up at 3 am this morning and thought, I'd check in on dragonvale. I put in lichen and crystal again on epic, and to my surprise another emerald. My 1st one is still hatching. So, not 1 but 2 for me within the last couple of days. Doing a happy dance this morning - yay! For those players that don't even have one, even though it is really frustrating, stay with it. I only had one lichen and two crystals so I could not breed multiples at one time, so it was epic all the way for me.

Any theories on the cryptic messages from Dragonvale? The water dragon does not do well on land, and mud dragons prefer clean carpet! My theory - in order to breed the pearl, you need to use a mud dragon as the water element! What think ye Dragonvale players? Also, I reckon pearl is hidden! Is the race on kryp2n8?

I do have the gemstone island. This is for a habitat when you level up. I'm thinking maybe I should get the sun habitat since it is probably easier to get than rainbow. I didn't realize when I started playing you were limited for your habitats.

I suggest get the habitat when you already have the egg, just to be sure, the sun and rainbow habitat only takes 2hrs to built, while hatching takes 48hrs, so when it hatched, your habitat is ready, no need to rush.

I think it's just funny! Especially the one with the Muddragon and the clean carpet, LOL! I think Pearl will replace Emerald next Month, but why not start as hidden one earlyer? Perhaps your right, let us know
