Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

My EBI seems to love butterfly dragons and that's it. Got 2 in quick succession, but still having no luck with breeding any of the others I've been trying ages for: sandstorm & bluefire mainly. Also haven't had any luck with current.

Congrats! On your Butterflies dragons, as they are my fave for the momemt. As you may know, there is a slightly better chance in getting the Current in your new EBI. I got it with water + mag, but others got one with water+ firefly or scorch. This combo may give 3 hrs failed attempts, which is good or breeding with mag will give a high resale fail attempt. Good luck and keep trying. Try one way water + hybrid a few times, if you don't get it, switch the position to hybrid+water once and switch back. Something about tricking the game.

Bluefire is a straightforward combo fire + cold hybrid. This could be storm, snow or ice or lichen. Its been awhile, but any of these should work. Sandies are a different story. They are more rare than the rares. It's a air + earth hybrid, try mud or iron would be my suggestion. This one may take a while, your tenacity will be tested.

Thanks for the tips. While trying to get the bloom and sakura I ended up with a rainbow and sun. Didn't get what I was after though before they disappeared. I didn't have the ebi at that stage - only got it a couple days ago.
I will keep trying to get the others. I'm really hoping to get a bluefire, frostfire, sandstorm and moon. Fingers crossed.

Because i think it's hard to run at fast speed on treadmill while playing with your ipad. Actually i put you 1st then i edited it, but we can reverse the decision, the 1st place goes to..... Peppiegal Because of the time of put in it.

I think this may have been asked previously, but I'll ask again for clarificaton. In relation to the shrines, the count doesn't start until you actually get the shrine is that correct?
For eample, when you get one, if you have 5 dragons of that element on your islands, then the count starts at 5. If you had another 5 at some point in time at level 10 and then sold them before getting the shrine, they don't count towards the initial tally (ie: it wouldn't be 10).

The Sandstorm and Bluefire were harder for me to get then the dragons considered rare. Good Luck!

Thats correct. It only counts the dragons you currently own at level 10. Wen u go into the market it has already started the count, but this goes up and down as u breed and sell. Good luck

I live in the states. My bloom came with the name tundra and I liked it so I kept it. I gave my clover the name charming and as for Junta I have always been a fan of anime and thought it would be fitting to have a Japanese name (even though I am pretty sure junta is a boys name) It was named something similar to that but I don't remember what and I only changed a letter or two. I named my Panlong aang my suns Kingsley and princeton my other bloom is Easter my water is nessy and my other Sakura is tohru(also a boys name lol). When my moon hatches I am going to name her loulou(cause Luna is to cliche). Other than that I kept their names. All that means is I spend too much time thinking about dv lol.

I love that! Some dragons I name after people I know or characters from my books since I'm kinda a book worm for example my sun and moon are named Stephen and Pamela after my parents and one of my bluefires name is Peter and one of my Sakura is named Wendy from the Starcatcher series. I even have some named Harry Ron And hermione and katniss and primrose





































Btw: I was so disipointed by the last air bender movie especially how they pronounced Aang o-ng instead of a-ng

That's correct, the count start right after you purchased the shrines, it will count all the dragons currently on your island and inside the hibernation cave. And the counts stays there forever even you sell your dragon after you have shrines.

Okay. Thanks for the clarification. Looks like I got some planning to do. Trying to avoid buying gems and taking the patient path of earning them to get additional space in the hibernation cave, etc.

I never got a second reindeer since I thought I would only ever need one back then I didn't know u could breed them after they were gone
