I just got my Metal gold shrine:

It's a big milestone for me because that completes everything except a level 20 dragon. I do have one at 17.5 and I might finish that one, but it will be leisurely.

The Metal gold shrine was perhaps the easiest. I was breeding Irons for the coins any way and it was a kind of self-perpetuating loop: breed, sell some immediately for cash, keep others and use the cash to buy treats and level them, sell them for more cash, etc. a self-funding cycle.

You're right, it was quite constraining. But I was really helped by the gems that I received as gifts. Unlike Fletch, I'm glad that lots of people ignored my admonishment not to send gems.

BFS will probably fix my game tomorrow, but there is no reason whatsoever to purchase gems until the next update.
