Oh my, there seem to be quite a few fans on here. I like Koontz, too. Seem to gravitate between King, Koontz, Patterson, Evanovich and Roberts.

Read all the gunslinger books and have to admit to refusing to start any series again until it is completed. The thought that King might have died before finishing it brought that on.

Don't think I have ever been disappointed with any of his books. My hubby read Thinner and has never recovered, haha!

Yep, Thinner was definitely an awestruck kinda book. Was scary and made ya think.

"Carrie" got me hooked, but "The Green Mile" remains my favorite! I haven't read "Under The Dome". Maybe on my list next. I still have to finish Insomnia.

Yes, that was great too! The first real introduction we had to another dimension. Very cool.

I just received the entire James Patterson's "Women's Murder Club" collection from a collector in Virginia.

I didn't realize that Stephen King wrote the green mile, wow this forum is awesome. I saw the green mile movie and it remains one of my top 10. I also didn't realize that it was a serial novel, thanks for the great info. I am not a huge fan of his scary books tho :) do you have any suggestions of other great reads by Stephen king?
