I would say the time limit is midnight in the city where BFS is located.
They are the center of the world you know lol.

They are in Boulder Colorado, i just checked, there it is 3.47 pm so that leaves about 8.13 hours to try for the golden dragon.

I'm saying basically two things.

1. Our experience was what it was, but you can't say the manipulation from BFS suggested by various people in this thread happened.
2. Good marketing is expected, and it should be there to make the company money. But fat people blaming McDonalds for their obesity need to take responsibility for their choices.

Actually one more thing; Working to achieve something is good for, and immediate gratification is bad for, the soul.

I took Poppy points was how brilliant BFS tactics was in launching LYD. He was not blaming or complaining about money spent, even though he tried to halt or warn this community into holding back until we knew for sure if a second breeding dragon was available. I just took his post as a complement on their online marketing. Did not Brooklyn post something it was the #1 app in revenue grossing. It may not all happened in our small world, but BFS master plan did create a sense of urgency and want. They only need 3% of there players to make purchase to make a killing. I would have to say they probably exceeded all their goals. Enough. . .let's breed on. Congrats again to holding onto your values and breeding a LYD? Peace out.

Nice. But you only lose production for half that time as they can still be producing whilst hatching. In fact what the produce whilst hatching is the same as what you lost whilst breeding so you could leave Net Production at 2.5 million and 86 000 an hour.

Thanks for the correction - I missed that. You do lose them for the time they are breeding though, so I think I will include that.

It might make sense to save a guide for breeding for coins. Maybe in the breeding guide thread. Here's what I have - please look it over and check for accuracy and when it's right we can save it somewhere for future reference.

Yeah!!!! Congrats! I'm so happy for you! And I have some news myself.... I just checked on my dragons to collect coins and one breeding in my regular cave was finished so I put Love/Cold in there again because I always like the surprise that combo seems to give me... guess what???? I GOT MY SECOND LYD!!!!!!! I almost fell out of my chair because I didn't expect it to be available anymore!!!!! But sure enough, it's a 14 hour 20 min breed time! Wow!!!! OK, yeah, I'm a little excited! hee, hee!

I kept going with it. I bought 300 worth of gems and used 220 speeding up mostly fireflies so about 20-25 times?
Finally got it after MONTHS of trying

I still need second lyd as well but it's not looking good. Bedtime now and I have 48 hr in cave and 12 on island. If I wake in time I might speed up the shorter one for one last go. I'll check if it's still possible first though. Good luck to all who are still in waking hours.

But oh what a fall!

Favorite season, hands down.

So, huge snowstorm in October. Snowblower runs awful, bogs down under no load. Do my best to shovel driveway while neighbors blithely run theirs no problem. Later, take carb off, clean thoroughly (butterfly valve hardly moving at all).

Second snow storm came in November. Snowblower runs great for about twenty minutes, then takes a rock bigger than my fist and snaps a shear bolt. Can't get the remainder of the broken shear bolt out, even using heat. Snow too heavy for just half of the thing to do, so do my best to shovel driveway while neighbors blithely run theirs no problem.

Awesomely warm winter, hardly any real snow, very atypical. Third snow storm today, got the tools out, drilled the snapped shear bolt out and put a new one in. Thing runs great for about twenty minutes, then bogs down under empty auger, starts smoking. I shut it down, pull it in, pull off the oil fill and smoke billows out (I had done new oil this fall, should be fine). Now it won't start, won't even turn over, acting like the engine has seized. Do my best to shovel of driveway while neighbors blithely run theirs no problem. I give up.

Yeah, I'm that guy who does everything right and can never catch a break. Just one break. Just one. Car has been uninspected since Sept.,well, never mind. This isn't the place to dump. Not much time left for LYD, hope you all got how many you wanted. Looking forward to St. Patrick's Day dragon and decorations. Don't forget to buy an astrolabe before they disappear.
