Dropping two years college tuition on DV accomplishing everything in two days makes the game boring? That's crazy talk! lol

Well im still addicted to the game but ud wanna get everything done right away as soon as it comes out bc then you dont do anything for a month till another update comes out

Update: 39 hours in (many more gems spent clearing my nursery and speeding up firefly hatching).
My 30+ gems are now down to 8.

EBI dedicated to Seaweed / Firefly & Blazing / Mud (rotation)
Breeding Cave dedicated to Love / Cold

Results: Seaweed / Firefly = Seaweed X 2, Swamp X 2, Firefly X 4, Scorch X 3, Flower X 2, Poison X 3

Im movinh my colosseum to the new island so my meandering path has more natural trees. The path now leads to the fountain of youth

Will rearrange my rares island to only have the moons and suns along with the breeding cave, HC and hatchery, then on what was my colosseum island, make is a rainbow island may also look at moving my water habitats off my earth island and doing somr path work. Havent really used the new decos much. Keen to spend tomorrow nite arranging when i have more time. Ran out tonight. I was off to bed but had to empty my habitats and check here 1st

Oh! That sounds cool! Wow. You have a lot in store! Can't wait to see what you do since our islands are alwys so cool. I will probably start transferring stuff from the bubble island to the new island. I think I want that island for babies but if we get new dragons....yikes...I just hope we get islands along with them. I want to also get rid of all those fogs but they have been earning me cash while working on the shrines. Anyways I hope your having a good nights rest!

Try blazing level 10 and mud level 4 seems a hot combo for many people including myself got my first panlong a couple weeks ago and just this past weeks a rainbow now I have another panlong and rainbow breeding at the moment!

I only wish it was hot for me. So far, tried it 28 x and still no rainbow. Just cruising for that rainbow. . . .rainbow. . . .little rainbow. . . .come to my island rainbow.. . .

Have to make changes to my hall of valor island. I just lvld up and got the lightning shrine. Yay! I also saw this when I went to get cash from my moon and rainbow. I have about 150 visitors. Does anyone else have more?

Wizards must love the gold paths, someone else mentioned they reached 200.

Oh no I have been too I bought a 130 gem pack about a week ago and speeded up with around 60 so had 70 ish left but have been saving since I heard about LYD because I have a feeling we are going to need them I now have 158 gems saved and refuse to spend any till LYD is here ( well I broke a cppl of times and spent 4 twice ) but thats not too bad I've been really good I think for a change x x x

The Fletch School of Dragonvale Management

For a total change of pace, I've decided to manage my grandson Jack's park using Fletch rules: buy no gems. I'm not completely pure because I have already purchased gems to set things up, but from here on out no purchases - and, hopefully, no gifts.

Given my personality it's akin to teaching a fish to walk, but I think I'm going to enjoy it. It's great practice in self discipline and creates a whole different set of challenges. For example, the Colesseum has taken on much greater importance. And I'm much more aware of the activities that generate the most XP points because I lust after the next level. Also, I'm much more deliberate and strategic because mis-steps are so time consuming. Fortunately, I think I understand the game pretty well and that gives me a sense of control.

I actually used the Fountain of Youth to turn a level 10 Sun into a baby and let the 12 hours elapse rather then use 12 gems - my proudest accomplishment in DV to date!

One thing I'm doing as my grandson has complete access to the park is to spend money on growing treats as soon as I have some. When Jack saw the gold coin total last night the first he wanted to do was buy a volcano.

On to new horizons. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Woof!

This may be rationalizing, but I think it's OK because the gift gems take on great value and are super appreciated when you aren't buying any. What I would love to do though is have six steady friends so I can reciprocate fully every day. Let's start a list:

Just keep plugging on it will happen eventually I've been there trust me lol like I said b4 I started playing in September and just recently got my 2 rainbow

Yeah I could but my food isn't that high anymore spent it to feed the one last bit eaech of my dragon needed to lvl 20 so I wouldnt have enough and updates yake awhile to come out so I wouldnt rush to get it done bc right now its boring.just making food.and.gaining money
