Been a while guys but for an update, I finally have a silver plant shrine and a sixth 48hr! I hope it will finally be a rainbow! I hope you guys have been doing good and I love coming on here and discovering new things like the leap year dragon! Can't wait for the 29th!

I feel so bad for you. I wouldn't be surprised if Backflip had an archived backup copy of your game prior to your son's shenanigans. Worth sending them a message. Hi all,
Furiously angry!!!
We went out this morning and have only gotten home.
I left my pad at home something I don't do often and when I came home now I checked on my dragons.
OMG ...... FURIOUS.......SON HUGELY PUNISHED!

He decided to give me a hand, leveled up ALL of my dragons to level 15 I now have all but one gold shrine, not happy SON!

He thought he would try his hand at jail BREAKING my iPad WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!
OMG did I not teach him anything.
So furiously upset!

He has now restored my IPAD to its previous condition, has been grounded, amongst many other punishments.
What is it with teenagers these days? I know he was only trying to help, but really, thought I raised him better than to do something like this without asking.

SIGH I feel abused and cheated.

Oh noooo that's naughty oh dear I wouldn't want to be in his shoes for the next week or so x x x

Oh wow! That is something! It really hit you on 2 fronts.

When I first read this I thought I would be really upset with my kids too, but think about it, they grow grow up in a time where they live and breath video games. And what do they do when they get stuck, find cheats online. Remember, there were whole magazines with walk throughs sold for game boy games like Donkey Kong and Pokemon.

As parents we like to believe that we have raised our kids better, and I believe you have. He just didn't see any harm in what he was doing, probably even thought you'd be thrilled and grateful. It's a bit sad...

You are correct and my disappointment is more about the fact that he didn't ask which if he had would have prevented the whole thing.
Yes it's just a games and he did it with the best of intentions, we did discuss what (he did) it means and why it's wrong on all levels, he is sorry but as he says I was just trying to help you get there quicker.
I'm not angry just disappointed and that will dissipate in time.

Absolutely. You are correct there are cheats for everything and he honestly thought I would be over the moon with his efforts.
Both my kids are great, this was done with a good intention I just don't think he thought about what it was he was doing.

I can only imagine. I guess the best advice that I can give that I try to live by is it could always be worse. You will hopefully look back one day and have a good laugh about it. Big hugs and take some big deep breaths...
