Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

I've been messing around with the path colors. It's actually something I was hoping for in Dragonvale for a while now. I love that they implemented it.

This $&@!#%-?&euro;Â¥ing rainbow dragon is really giving me a helluva time. Thus far, I've tried blue fire/crystal, firefly/seaweed, firefly/swamp, blazing/mud, fog/lava, love/iceberg, love/cold, love/fog, reindeer/sonic... Basically all possible combos as listed on the breeding page. Over the course of the last two months I've tried countless times! Im at level 25 and I should have one of these darn things by now! In everyone's opinion, what do you think the BEST, most tried and true combo for rainbow is?

Perservance is all I have to say. I got my first with flower and storm and thereafter nothing. Got my second rainbow with love and cold. But with this combo, I also got a sun. Just tried again, first try got a storm, second try got 48 hrs. It could be any of the three. I was trying for a rainbow and I crossing my fingers now. I love this combo and I would just continue using it until you get that 48 hrs. Happy breeding!

This is absolutely the coolest thing I've ever seen done with paths on dragonvale. Total inspiration!

I totally agree, I was thinking it was great to be able to make a chessboard, but this!!

Lol. Thank you everyone. It's actually really easy to do. I just look at 8-bit sprites and copy them. The hardest thing to do would probably just guesstimate whether or not it'll fit on the island. And I actually made another one. Since I love Final Fantasy, and the colors match pretty well.

Exactly. I do think that BFS resorted to a bit of hyperbole by calling it the "Epic" breeding island. That implies that it would be more powerful in producing hard to get desirable dragons - which hasn't proven to be the case for any of us. First rule in sales: don't over-promise, even by implying. It only leads to the customer being disappointed. Fortunately, in this case, it's valuable simply to have multiple breeding venues. I'd buy another in an instant, even if they called it the "Awesome" breeding cave. With Airs and Sandies the ROI is immediate.

I'm fairly sure all my rares have been in the ebi. I'm now proud to announce my second rainbow. Happy dancing again!!!!!

Yes defo worth it as it's a second breeding spot imagine if a new dragon comes out and you've got a 48 HR in your one cave you will have to wait 2 days to have a crack at the new dragon .......... Well that's my opinion lmao but I suppose it all depends on how patient you are I personally would pay twice tat amount of gems to get a third breeding island lol x x x

Love and cold and keep at it. I've just got second rainbow with that combo within a week. :thumbs:

You visit your friends sites and collect that 3 hats that are randomly placed over their habitats. They are worth coins, and are worth more as you level up. You are not taking anything from your friends. It's just encouraging a social aspect of the game.
