I used to power it off every night when I charge it, but I just put, it into sleep mode now, as it was inconvenient to wait for it to boot up.

I never turn it off, the only time my ipad was off was when it was in the box at the apple store.

I never shut mine off either. It charges by my bed on my nightstand while left on. That way, I don't miss anything important.

And well the thing is my iPad charger is a bit bent at the top and it can't charge properly when I'm using it because it goes slower because its a little bent and it takes 20 minutes to half an hour to charge while I'm using it

Usually it's left on for 8-10 days before I shut it down overnight.

I've never intentionally powered down either phone or iPad ,
to me they're " always on " devices. They're on but in standby mode when charging .
Covers are left open to assist potential heat dissipation , and I probably power down not even once a month!!!
