VERY new to this site & most definitely not computer savvy. That's one of the reasons it has taken me a while to come to here. Most of the terms I see here are mombo jumbo but I am trying to learn. Don't know if this is where I post a problem or not-BUT, if it is, I updated to 5.1.1 on ipad 2-It downloaded email from 2009-about 2,000 of them, which I deleted-(had already done so on my pc). Then it said I had no more messages. It still will not give me my email. I did not change any settings at all. It just stopped sending them. Tried the reboot, tried the closing of all open apps, then rebooting, tried rebooting after turning off my wildblue account, then turning it back on-still nothing. Can someone help me using baby steps and simple words? Thanks in advance if you can.;

Hi Diane.

I would suggest deleting and recreating the problem email account on your iPad. If after doing so you still have issues post back here. Some accounts have been known to lose the passwords for incoming and/or outgoing smtp servers during upgrade. The delete/recreate will fix this if that is what happened, will also set default rules/retention levels.
