Delete button needed

Help, there is no delete button when I do email, only an archive button. Can I change that?

Sounds like you got a gmail account. Archived mail is sent to your "all mail" folder. Open that, click edit at the top, then select what you wish to get rid of. Hit the delete button at the bottom. Also a good idea to empty trash folders also.

Not sure how to change that. Of course I haven't tried.

I'm going to assume you're using Gmail or something like it.

So.

Go into your Settings. Then select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars." Select your Gmail account to open/edit it. Towards the bottom, you should see a line that says "Archive Messages." Turn the button to off (grey it out). Then select done. Now when you go to delete mail, it'll delete it, not archive it.
