Hi Guys,
New member looking for help!

I have an iPad Air 2. I successfully replaced the battery only to discover that the touch screen was only working partially. On examination with a magnifying glass I see that I have damaged pins or the ribbon connectors. In fact two of the end pins have broken off.

My question is do I need to replace the entire screen or is a repair/ workaround possible. The connectors on the board itself seem ok.

Thanks in advance.

This is going to be a painful one but if they are broken on the screen side of the connection ,then you will need to replace the entire screen. Unfortunately they run about $200-$250 us and up for the air 2.

Thanks Brian 244. I suspected as much. I shall just have to grin and bear it I suppose.
