This is probably a dumb question, but when I highlight and copy a passage in an eBook on my iPad how can I retrieve the copied text. 
Copying passages in eBooks . . .

This is probably a dumb question, but when I highlight and copy a passage in an eBook on my iPad how can I retrieve the copied text.
Go into whatever other app you want to paste it into (words, presentation, numbers, notepad, email, etc) click in a text field and select paste.
