Controlling my home ...

Hey everyone,
I'm new here and not sure if this is the right place to post this ...

I have bought myself an iPad 2 3G and I'm hoping to use it for some basic AV control. Things I need it to do are as follows:

• TV Control
• Audio Control
• Blu-ray control
• PVR control

I saw a product called Bitwise which has iPad integration, but not sure about it.

HAs anyone heard of this, or can recommend something else?

Bitwise looks interesting. Never seen it before but thanks for pointing it out.
The one thing that has had reviews is "UnityRemote Turns iOS Device into Universal Remote". Sorry, just cut and paste headline from a review. There might be others but this one sticks out in my mind as something reviewers liked. Google it you'll find many reviews.

I've just read quite a few reviews about the UnityRemote saying its great, but there are some (enough) that say that it has some stability issues.

I need it to be wife-proof so anything that isn't rock solid is going to cause me a headache.

Just saw another product available in Australia called uremote (uRemote officially launches in Australia | Connected Home - Home automation control systems & residential technology) ...

Now I'm just getting confused.
