Come on Apple #2

It is very annoying that my photo albums in the Photos App don’t appear in Alphabetical Order. Yes, I can tap Edit and drag an album to where I want it. But to put all of them in Alphabetical Order like this would be a real PITA. Come on Apple, sort this out with a “sort alphabetically command please”.

It is possible to do what you wish. I’m assuming you are using iPadOS 26!

First select ‘Albums’ from the left hand pane.

Then when the Albums are shown on the right, select the three ‘dots’ top right. From the panel that opens, select ‘list view’ and then ‘sort by name’

Your Albums will now be in alphabetical order.

No, I’m still on 18.7.2.

I did a software update on my iPhone the other day, and for some reason (I didn’t see any option of updating or upgrading as I did for my iPad) it upgraded it to iOS 26. I’m not too keen on 26.
Thanks for the comment though. I will try to remember this when I eventually upgrade to 26.
