Well this solves the age old problem of trying to find the remote that is stuck in the couch somewhere. I doubt anyone will loose their iPad in the couch cushens.

I am using my iPad as my remote control on my TV! How cool is that I ask you! And I figured out all by myself!

I thought you could watch what is on your tv ON the iPad ~ but I haven't gotten that far yet.

I installed the Xfinity iPad app the other day. I found all 3 of my cable boxes and record just fine. But I can't change the channel from my iPad. Anyone have any solutions?

I can change the channels. But I forgot how. I will check it out and let you know!

When are they going to allow more functionality? I wamnt to be able to change volume, set reminders, turn on or off the tv, etc.

I for one would be grateful to have ANY functionality. My Motorola box isn't compatible, so I just use the app as a quick TV guide. I have digital cable like most, nothing fancy, but you'd think my box would work with the app, but it doesn't. Geez, I'd just like to change channels at this point!

Soon! We will be able to watch our DVD, movies, and TV shows! I can't wait!
