I have synced by devices via google, including the main google calendar with iCal on the Mac. What are the specifics of syncing a second google calendar (i.e. Details for subscribing to the calendar)?

The instruction are in the the last link of the setup for Exchange. To save you from looking, because it is dead simple, go to m.google.com/sync in Safari on the iPad. After signing in you will see your device listed. Tap it to see a list of your google calendars. Select the ones you want, and tap save.
