They ran the St.Pat's quest and Easter too close together in my opinion. Did not give us a chance to catch up on other projects. And then to have a building that you have next to no chance to earn in game but will need to spend real money on has a lot of us running out of patience. And are we positive the golden egg building is actually one of the four needed for the bonus building? I am still expecting 1 one to pop up for the energy bar. After this is all done, I am just going to complete all the tasks on my side bar and buy land/update buildings.
I am trying to get in the "this is only a game" mode again and start enjoying it again.

Just heard back from apple..no refund..I replied others got refunded for same reason..will wait for reply..guess they are tired of refunds for GI based games...guess I will not be spending cash on the game any more...

I'm sorry everyone is having such a rotten time. Makes me a sad panda. I am looking forward to the end of the Easter event. Hope it'll be awhile before they have something else to chase/do. Want to focus on getting to 7mil coin.

Basically, a bunch of grown-ups are having an emotional meltdown over the allegedly misunderstood text and trying to extort money from mommy Apple one way or another as a compensation for mental anguish caused by not getting a candy from evil Santa. And here comes a moderator. And encourages said attempts. ROFL.

This is why I like Kêl. She doesn't mince words. She lays out the evidence, points out the facts, and then requests resolution.

When you write to apple,

1) explain the offer and your expectation.
2) show how you tried to resolve the issue.
3) Then point out you have no other options to come to a resolution, and now want to work the party that took your money (apple)

My guess now it might be harder. I'm sure by now the refunds are hitting GI, and they are pushing back.

Joking aside may I point out terms and conditions are in place for a reason. Now I work hard for my money and when I treat myself to purchases in a game I expect that game to perform in the correct manor. With glitches with the game and poorly written tasks which mislead people we have a right to speak out. Now don't get me wrong, I agree that BB may have meant you had to place but then that wasn't really clear enough. I did what it said and I never got what was expected. If someone is prepared to create an app, entice players to spend there money and time then they should be clear from the onset. It's simple wordings like this and small print that will teach developers in the future.

My original correspondence with the support of the game was purely to raise the misunderstanding and you know what they could have replied, apologised for misunderstanding or even go some way into explaining there misunderstanding. The fact they ignored me, and ignore many other players with genuine glitches that have cost people real spent money is a disgrace. May I also point out that I don't mean ignore me as in take days/weeks to respond, they put my ticket as solved and closed it without responding. My input of real money funds the wages of that support and they couldn't be bothered to make a reply! So yes I have a right to complain!

As for the refund, I did not ask Apple for a refund, I simply made them aware of the the issues had from the game support. The gesture came at some surprise and a nice one at that. That said, I don't encourage people to read My story and think "sweet I'm gonna get some money back". I provided screen shots and a good argument agains the support a which led to my refund. It wasn't a case of I'm not happy i want my money back.

I am done complaining..no one cares...I am done with tea/ cheese/ cookies...12 hr build..working in ET collecting pizzas/ energy. About half way done with that. So all is good with me now.
