Art Studio help

Hi- I'm new here but needing some help with a logo. I'm trying to make my logo transparent (because right now it has a white background) with my iPad and so I bought the Art Studio app but have no idea how to do it. It's gotta be easier than zooming in and the erasing around it...that just looks awful. Is there a better app to do this with? I purchased my logo (didn't make it myself) so I can't just go redo it. Any help would be great!!! Thanks!
