The big day when the upcoming iPads are going to be unveiled has been set - October 16, which is next Thursday. As always, rely on iPadForums.net for extensive coverage of the event.
And we have some great news to share with you - you'll be able to watch Apple unveil its new products live as it happens. We can only hope that the livestream will be better than at the September event, when many accused that the video was glitchy and there were even problems with the audio.
Apple’s official live site has a holding page for the stream, saying the following: “Join us here at apple.com/live on October 16 at 10am PT to watch our special event live.”
The live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later to work.
Also, streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later. Besides the arrival of new iPads and Macs, we could hear new details about Mac OS X Yosemite and the Apple Watch.
