I just tried to download an app to my iPhone 12 and it wanted the password for an Apple account I haven’t used for years. To get round this I downloaded the app to my iPad mini and then I was able to download it to my iPhone without logging in as I have the “ download to other devices” ticked in preferences.
Anyone know how I can change the App Store account details on my iPhone?
Edit: It’s very strange as if I go to the account details in the App Store it shows the correct email address but then asks for a password for an old defunct one!
I have now logged out of the App Store and logged back in and all seems ok for the moment. I have the feeling though that I’ve done this before …
