Any media center ??

Hi all:

I've made this question a few days ago.
No one answered to my question and a search also gave no results.

So I ask once again:

Is there anything for ipad simillar to XBMC or Media Center ???

You can install XBMC on a jailbroken iPad but I doubt Apple would allow any such software on a 'standard' one as it'd compete with their own offerings.

I can't jailbreak my ipad at the moment as it came with version 5.0.1 so I'll have to wait for the new release.

what are the offerings that they consider competition ?? is there anything simillar from apple ??

Well they don't really have a full "media centre" type application but they want people to use iTunes for all their music and video needs really so they won't like third-party apps which promote sourcing material from 'other' sources I guess

Ok I understand, but honestly I don't like itunes.

So I'll have to wait for jailbreak 5.0.1 that is supposed to be out very soon.
