hello friends. I'm a bit of a tech head, dwelling in the Republic of Texas, having lifetimes in high tech profession, do some consulting, am stronger on the windows/PC/Android side of things than on os/x and ios but am learning fast.
that's why I'm here.
as much as I find to admire in the Android world [not that I trust Google!!], the ipads are, to me, just too well-executed versus the competition. I've had 'droid tablets including late model Nexus 7 and I basically tell the disgruntled to sell it [at least they are easy to sell] and buy a Mini instead, if not a fullblown Retina.

hope to learn from you all. I'm trying to see how far I can push the capabilities of these devices toward the "only device we need" nirvana. so far I've barely begun

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
