I'm certainly no expert with anything on the ipad but I will give you my advice on what I would do if it were me. I would plug it into the computer and pull up itunes and see if the app shows up there, and if so then delete it from itunes then try re-installing it on the ipad, if this doesn't resolve the issue I'm not sure where to go from there.
