A secure private folder for APPS?

Have been searching on secure folder apps but all I seem to find is apps for hiding dirty pics

What I am looking for is an app to password protect one or more of the folders in which I store apps so that people cannot get at the apps to use them.

Is there such a thing?

Yes, there is such a thing. However, not for stock iPads. You have to be jail broken and then you can get a tweak to lock either your apps, your folders or both.

But, you won't find anything like that in the App Store. Only the photo protection ones, as you've discovered.

I thought as much - effectively sets up user control like on a PC so far too useful to be allowed by Apple!
Very new to this so will stick to learning the basics before jail breaking!
