I'm sorry if I'm touching on a subject already discussed, but I just updated both my iPad mini and iPhone 5 to 6.0.2 but my iPad 3 says that it is up to date at 6.0.1. Is this normal that the update was only for the other two devices or is my iPad 3 having a bit of confusion? Thanks for any help.

Correct, iOS 6.0.2 is only for iPhone (5 only I believe) and iPad Mini. There is no update for the other iPads.
