5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak for iPad1 RELEASED

did the new jailbreak today on iPad1 and iPhone 4 CDMA - iBooks is now broken on both devices. Anyone have a way to fix?

It is a known issue and pod2g is working on a fix. I have updated the first post with a warning for everyone.

Suppose I get a problem with iBooks. Can I just re install it and be done with it.
Few month ago on my 4.3.3 JB iPAD-1 I had a similar problem. iBooks could not be opened, so I deleted it and re install it.
Every thing became OK. All my books by the way , staid on the iPAD and re-appeared after the new installation.

There is no official fix for iBooks yet. It is being worked upon. The only ones available are via repos which promote piracy and for the avoidance of doubt members are NOT allowed to post those here. Anyone who does so will be disciplined in accordance with our rules.
