The New iPhone made for Varizon to support CDMA is IOS 4.2.5
I just wander if this version is heading our (iPAD) way as well.

Id like to think it is, however with the impending release/announcement of ipad 2, I would say that Ipad 2 will ship with 4.2.5 or iOS 5 and the original ipad will get an update later.

The 4.2.5 version is probably needed so Verizon can de-nut the iPhone like they do every other phone they offer.

I read that 4.3 would bring them all together including the personal hot spot feature that the Verizon phone offers.

I believe that a VZW ipad is already availible

The one that's avalible now is a wifi on model being sold with a VZW mifi, they think a 3G CDMA version will come out.

We all know the answer now - 4.3

Already in Beta.
The Mute switch for special alerts is back ( configurable in set-up)
No need for the Home button any more - Can use 5 fingers to close App. and 4 fingers to pop up the "multi Task" application view .

NOT liking that idea at all. They better keep that button as it is.

Im sure they will keep the home button. I'm running 4.3 beta and while it was cool at first, I am not so sure playing "octopus" to get to the home screen is all that great. Maybe I will grow to like it.

I'm at least thankful it is just 4 or 5 fingers. Pretty soon I'm gonna need my chin too. :)

I think dragging 4 fingers down is a better option to 'minimise' an app.
