Hello,

Does anyone know if you can use FaceTime or messaging in Turkey and if so how. I've tried lots of time and FaceTime doesn't connect and messages don't get sent.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I saw your other post, please do not post twice on an issue, as well as being against Forum Rules it makes it confusing to follow more than 1 thread. I did look on the net and someone was using these apps in Turkey but for some reason are now having troubles. FaceTime and iMessage can only contact other users who are on IOS5 and they must also have an iPad, iPhone or an iPod touch. FaceTime can also be accessed from a Mac but you need to be on wifi to use FaceTime across all these devices. Have you activated both of these apps and set up your notifications and alerts? Also has your email been added to both setups? Can you tell us what is happening when you try to connect?
