Twitter has introduced today a feature that users have been requesting for quite a while now - the ability to mute other usersâ€™ tweets. Hereâ€™s what Twitter said about the new feature:
This has been one of the major complaints that Twitter users had with the service, but not anymore. The new feature is currently available for the web service, but it will slowly roll out to the mobile apps, as well. Twitter has also updated its iOS app with important changes for iPad users, thus bringing it to version 6.5. It now comes with a new design, photo and video previews for timeline, and easier access to direct messages. Hereâ€™s the official changelog:
The new features, along with the mute function, now make the default Twitter service much better than before, and it constitutes another reason to ditch third-party apps and use only the original one.
