I currently have an IPAD 2 64GB and will probably upgrade to either a Mini or Air. I travel quite freqently and like to watch downloaded Itune movies or shows and surf the net etc. I have found 64gb was necessary when I first got the IPAD 2, now with the cloud and dropbox etc, I dont know if the expense of 64gb is necessary. I am also considering a wireless hard drive for storing movies, shows etc. Any advice ?

The general rule of thumb is that you should always get as much as storage as possible. That being said, if you have some other storage options then in your case you could probably get by with the 32gb model and save some money that way. It seems that those who store a lot of music or movies use up their storage pretty quickly. For the rest of us, it seems we can get by with less. Hope that helps.
