Well Apple want €29.00 from me because my iPad Air 2 is 18 months old.
So l guess the next step is to do a full backup as new.
And see what happens.
If it's ok then l'll add the apps one by one until maybe it's a bad app. If not Apple can have it back and l must bite the bullet or buy an Android (joke)

Well just done my iTunes backup and then
as a first try restored it form that.

It appears to be working perfectly (at the moment)
No sign requests so far, early days yet tho'

I have the solution! At least what worked for me. Turns out my Uber app had a credit card on file that said it was expired. I updated the card, restarted my iPhone, and voila! No more sign in error.

So check for an app that has an expired, or old credit card on file, then update it. That should solve the issue.
