    It's been a great year for Apple, full of new product and service launches, as well as new partnerships and surprising announcements. We've decided to round-up the most important ones in chronological order.

    January - Apple announces that App Store sales top $10 Billion in 2013.

    March
    - Apple launched a new Siri-based system called CarPlay, which allowed drivers to safely make calls, use Maps, listen to music and access messages hands-free.

    April - Apple updates MacBook Air.

    May - Apple acquired rapper Dr Dre’s Beats Electronics for $3bn n a deal that ranks as the company's largest ever purchase.

    June - Apple Unveils iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite.

    July - Apple updates MacBook Pro with Retina Display; Apple and IBM forge Global Partnership to for enterprise mobility.

    September - Apple Announces iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus, Apple Pay, Apple Watch.

    October - Apple Introduces iPad Air 2, 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K Display and updates Mac mini.
