Problem with iPad restrictiction code

Help I'm almost out of choices, I've tried everything & I can't remember the code for the restriction code, both on my iPad and iPhone.

What is the best way to save everything if I have to "set as new" and does that mean I lose all the saved info.... We also have an apple computer. I'm not sure where to start.

You will likely have to connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer and restore to factory condition. This will mean that you'll lose all data on your iPad. It's recommended that you set it up as a new iPad. The reason is that if your iPad backup was made after you added the restrictions password, it will be restored along with the backup.
