problem launshing ituens from ie

Hi.
I am running windows 8 x64
On earlier itunes versions, once I accessed "view in itunes" within itunes page on iexplorer it launshed itunes with correct app. Now after I update itunes to 11.1.3.8 it takes me to d/l ituens page on iexplorer.
Any tip to solve this ?.
